The JD Welsh Premier League have today released a list of the important dates for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
The list contains information which details when the league gets underway, when the various cup competitions begin, when the league splits into two and when the cup finals will take place.
The New Saints claimed an eighth successive top flight crown in its most recent instalment, recovering from a shaky start to finish 12 points clear at the summit.
They will begin the defence of their title on the weekend of 16/17/18 August, with the newly-established Tier 2 North and South seasons getting underway at the same time.
Cardiff Metropolitan – who are gearing up for their Europa league tie against FC Progrès Niederkorn – claimed a maiden Nathaniel MG Cup triumph last term, and the latest version of the League Cup will kick-off on the weekend of 2/3/4 August.
The second round will take place a week later on 9/10/11 August.
The date for the final has been set for 1 February 2020.
Phase One of the Welsh Premier League will conclude on 18 January 2020, as the table splits into a Championship (top six) and Playoff Conference (bottom six).
The final fixtures in the Welsh Premier League will take place on 25 April 2020.
A week later (2/3 May 2020) the Tier 2 North and South seasons will conclude.
The European Playoff Final, which was won by Cardiff Metropolitan last time out, is scheduled for 16/17 May 2020.
