Cefn Druids have signed former Colchester United midfielder Charley Edge.
He is Huw Griffiths’ first signing of the summer. Centre-back Nathan Peate committed his future to the club back in April.

Upon signing, Edge said to CefnDruidsAfc.com: “I’m really happy to sign, feel like the club is moving in a good direction, doing things professionally.
“I’m looking forward to the season and feel like it’ll be a good step in my career.”
Assistant Manager, Jayston Starkey added: “He’s a player who myself and Huw have been monitoring over the past season and watched him a number of times.
“Charley can play a number of positions and understands the Druids way and expectations of what it is to be a Cefn Druids player.”
The 22-year-old winger began his career with Swansea City, before moving to Stoke City, Everton and eventually Colchester.
Aberystwyth born Edge was released by Football League club Colchester United in May 2018. He joined Hednesford Town after his release.
