Cambrian & Clydach Vale have signed forward Sam Johnson.
The 23-year-old joins from fellow Championship South side Goytre United.
Johnson was previously on the books of Ely Rangers and Taffs Well, before making the move to Goytre United in May 2018.
Cambrian’s newest addition said: “I’m really looking forward to the new challenge.
“I’ve had a frustrating season last season with injuries but I’m excited to get started again.
“Cambrian are a great club with fantastic facilities and play football the right way. I’ve met the lads and now I’m really looking forward to pre-season and getting started.
“Hopefully I can help the Cam Army build on their recent success and have a good season personally.”
Manager Dane Williams said on his newest signing: “We’ve been fortunate to retain the squad from last season and we believe that the current crop coming through can really kick on this season.
A striker is a position we have focused on this summer and we are delighted to have Sam with us.
He fits exactly what we are looking for and we believe he can fit in very quickly and hit the ground running. He’s young and hungry to do well with an eye for goal.
“Added to what we already have he’s quality signing and I am personally looking forward to seeing what Sam can produce.”
Cambrian’s only departure is Kyle Jones who has moved to Australia to play football.
