Taffs Well begin their pre-season with a glamour friendly against Cardiff City.
The EFL Championship outfit return to Rhiw’r Ddar for a third consecutive pre-season.
Neil Warnock’s side narrowly won 1-0 in 2017 as they showcased a number of new signings.
The Yorkshireman is expected to be there this evening, alongside a number of first team players.
Last season a youthful Cardiff side beat the Wellmen by three goals. Former WPL forward Rhys Healey was on the scoresheet, whilst ex-WPL players such as Brayden Shaw, Matt Hall and Ryan Pryce made their debuts.
Taffs Well finished in the bottom three of Division One last season but had a reprieve, following Port Talbot Town’s failure to obtain a Tier Two licence.
