Bangor City have added experienced forward Ashley Ruane to their front line.
The 34-year-old is the latest addition to the Bangor City squad following a summer of recruitment.
He joins the Citizens having spent last season with Aberystwyth Town, following a brief spell with Colwyn Bay.
Manager Stephen Vaughn Jnr said: “Ash will add valuable experience to the squad.
“He is a proven goal-scorer at the level above and with the mix of younger players plus himself and the other lads who have also played in the Welsh system, I believe we have a good variety that will stand us in good stead going into the new season.”
With Bangor’s pre-season wrapped up following a 4-0 win over Chirk AAA, the new-look Citizens now look forward to their Nathaniel MG Cup tie against Conwy Borough, which takes place next Saturday.
Ruane’s previous experience in the Welsh domestic pyramid has been him feature for clubs like Connah’s Quay, Rhyl and the Cefn Druids.
He also played for Warrington Town, featuring in their shock FA Cup victory over Exeter City in 2014.
Ruane has 39 goals in 133 appearances in the JD Cymru Premier.
