Carno have appointed Llandsyul boss Gwynfor Edwards as their new first-team manager.
Edwards, managed Llandysul last season, reaching two finals and winning two. He replaces Chris Davies, who left earlier this month.
The Llanelli-based coach was formerly manager of Kidwelly Town and worked in the backroom staff at Llanelli Town.
He was assistant-manager at Aberystwyth Town Ladies and helped them to the Welsh Women’s League title last season alongside his men’s football commitments.
After being appointed, Edwards said: “Carno are a great football club, with tremendous ambition.
“I can’t wait to get going, and build something memorable.”
A brief statement from Carno said: “Gwynfor is a young coach with both qualifications and experience.
“We wish him all the best and look forward to getting started.”
Edwards will combine his duties with West Wales Women’s League side Swansea University whilst managing Carno.
His first game in charge will be a Cup match against Bow Street.
