Pontyclun have voiced their displeasure after their fixture against Albion Rovers was postponed.
Personnel from visiting club Pontyclun claimed they inspected the pitch five hours prior to kick-off before the game was called off two hours later.
Kimberely Park – The home pitch of host club Albion Rovers – last hosted a Welsh League match on September 7 – a 3-2 defeat to Abertillery Bluebirds.
In late September, the Kimberely Park playing surface was covered in metre-high water from flooding.
A tweet from the account of Pontyclun manager Barry Quinn read: “Hugely frustrating day yesterday.
“Having visited the ground at 8.15 am yesterday and pitch was 100% playable.
“Clearly had no intention of playing whatsoever.”
The Welsh Football League say a complaint hasn’t been received by Pontyclun. Albion Rovers have been contacted for comment.
