Cefn Druids are on the verge of signing Jamie Reed and Steffan Edwards.
The duo add to Huw Griffiths’ squad as they chase a top-six spot.
Rees, 32, returns to the Cymru Premier after a year away from the league.
Edwards, 30, featured five times for Aberystwyth Town in the current campaign and joins the play-off chasing Druids.
Leader Live report that Jamie Reed and Steffan Edwards are close to signing for the Druids.
Former Bangor City forward Reed has been without a club since leaving Northwich Victoria last month.
Speaking to Leader Live, manager Huw Griffiths said: “He’s a really experienced player who has a good goals-to-game ratio in the Cymru Premier.
“He’s been training with us and he will bring experience and a bit more quality to our frontline.
“He’s done some of his coaching badges and will bring a lot to the group.”
Reed could make his debut for the Druids on Saturday in the NEWFA Challenge Cup quarter-final with Buckley Town.
Joining him at The Rock could be Stefan Edwards who has played for Airbus and Newtown in the Welsh top flight.
“He’s experienced, versatile and is a great athlete,” added Griffiths.
“He won’t ever let me down because he is someone who always tries to do the right thing.
“He knows his game, he knows what he’s good at and what he isn’t.”
