Pentwynmawr Athletic have appointed David Palmer as their new first team manager.
He replaces Tony Powell who stood down on January 7 after a season-and-a-half at the club.
Palmer joined Pentwynmawr back in June as a player-coach after spells with Cefn Fforest and Ynysddu Welfare.
“The club are delighted to confirm David Palmer as our new Gwent Premier League Team Manager,” said a club statement.
“He has impressed everyone at the club with his enthusiasm and technical know-how.
“He is the perfect candidate to step up into the role. Good Luck David.”
Pentwynmawr currently sit sixth in Division One of the Gwent Premier League.
Palmer’s first game in charge since his appointment will be an away trip to bottom side FC Tredegar.
