Domenico Serafino linked with a potential takeover of Sambenedettese – reports

Bangor City president Domenico Serafino could be about to dip into Italian football with reports that he is considering a takeover of Sambenedettese.

Serafino has been in charge of Bangor City since September 2019 and could be about to add Serie C side Sambenedettese to his portfolio.

Numerous outlets in Italy such as Gazzetta RossoBlù, Il Resto del Carlino and Riviera Oggi have all reported that Serafino has been in discussions to take over the Italian third division club from Franco Fedeli.

As a result of a possible takeover, Italian football journalist Massimo Merlo says current Citizens boss Pedro Pasculli could become manager should Serafino complete his takeover.

Pasculli had a playing spell in Italy as a former player of Lecce, scoring 54 goals 214 appearances for The Salentians. He also played for Casertana in the latter stages of his career.

He has managed a host of lower league Italian clubs, including teams like Cittanova Interpiana, Horatiana Venosa, Verbania and Virtus Entella.
