Newtown have swooped quickly to sign George Hughes following his departure
He returns Latham Park after previously spending a spell at the club from Shrewsbury Town.
Hughes makes his move to the Powys club after announcing his departure from Airbus UK yesterday.
“I’m buzzing to be back, can’t wait to get started and see what the season brings,” said Hughes after his arrival was announced.
He is the second player to return to the club after Jamie Breese was announced by the Robins yesterday.
