Chris Mepham, David Brooks and Harry Wilson relegated with Bournemouth

Wales internationals Chris Mepham, David Brooks and Harry Wilson have suffered relegation to the Championship with Bournemouth.

The Cherries defeated Everton 3-1 at Goodison Park but the victory wasn’t enough as Aston Villa stayed up at the expense of the South Dorset side.

It brought to an end a five-year stay in the English top flight for Bournemouth.

Brooks was a beneficiary of the Premier League restart as he returned to action from a lengthy injury.

The 23-year-old made nine appearances, scoring one goal.

Mepham missed the last six games of the season due to injury but made 12 appearances in defence this season.

Wilson made a three-minute cameo in Bournemouth’s victory but now returns to Liverpool following the completion of his season-long loan.

The 23-year-old made 31 appearances for Eddie Howe’s side this season, scoring seven goals.
