Flint Town United have signed Darren Thornton and Matthew Jones.
Midfielder Jones is joining from Vanarama National League outfit Wrexham.
The 18-year-old made three appearances in the Scottish Challenge Cup for the Dragons last season.
Announcing the signing, Flint said: “We are delighted to announce the arrival of centre-midfielder Matthew Jones from Wrexham.
“Mathew came through the Academy structure and featured in the first team a number of times last season.”
Thornton meanwhile was released from his contract with the Seagulls in April.
The 32-year-old has now made the move to the Flintshire side in his first taste of Cymru Premier action.
Prior to joining the Seagulls, Thornton was previously on the books of Hyde United and Bradford Park Avenue.
Thornton made a number of appearances in both the National League and National League North.
“We are delighted to announce the arrival of central defender Darren Thornton from Colwyn Bay,” announced the club.
“The defender comes in with a wealth of experience having played most of his career in England before his move to Wales last season.”
There is a dampener to the news, however, Summer recruitment George Macready is already departing the club however with a move back to England confirmed by the club.
Niall McGuinness’ side have already recruited Ben Burrows, Ben Lockey, Ben Nash, Conor Harwood, Harry Lockley, Kai Wallis, Mason Blackwell, Nathan Craig, Rob Hughes and Wes Baynes ahead of the new campaign.
The Silkmen are due to play their first top-flight game in 22 years, when they host Newtown on Saturday, 11 September at the Essity Stadium.
