Inter Milan legend Javier Zanetti says he is keen to travel to North Wales to see the link-up with Bangor City.
Bangor City have a partnership with the Italian giants which will see young players in Wales learn from coaches of Inter.
As part of the working relationship, young players could visit the San Siro, as well as visits from legends like Zanetti.
The five-time Serie A winner met with club president Domenico Serafino in Milan, where they discussed plans for the club.

“This is a great link-up, I’d like to say a big hello to the fans of Bangor City and the players in the youth academy,” said Zanetti.
“I’m looking forward to coming over later this year to meet everyone. It is a difficult time at the moment with COVID-19, so I hope you are all well.”

The Citizens, yet to find out their fixtures for the 2020/21 Cymru North season, are looking to enhance their academy structure.
“Zanetti is the perfect figure for young players to look up to and everyone at the club is looking forward to him coming. The Bangor City family will give him a big reception,” said Serafino.
“The youth system is the backbone of the club going forward and we have the system in place with the help of Inter to get the best out of the young players in Wales so that they can realise their potential.”
