Aberystwyth Town have announced the signing of Miles John, following his departure from Cymru Premier rivals Haverfordwest County.
John, 25, has also played for Port Talbot Town, Cambrian and Clydach and Merthyr Town.
Upon signing for the Seasiders, the midfielder said, “The club excites me as they’re a well-established Cymru Premier club.
“The ambition of getting a Top Six position was set out from Day One by Gav and his staff to me on the phone; I want to be a part of reaching this ambition best I can.
“I know a few boys at the club: Owz (Jones), Harri Rowe, Matty Jones and Vealey. They spoke to me and have given nothing but high praise about everyone at the club.
“I’m a hard and honest worker whatever position I play. I like to get on the ball and play but also get forward as much as I can to help chip in with assists and goals,” he added.
Gavin Allen’s side currently sit eighth in the Cymru Premier table, having picked up five points from as many games, but new signing Miles John believes the Seasiders can challenge for top six.
John said, “Top Six is the priority! Personally, I want to get as many minutes as I can to help the team and my own development by testing myself at the highest level in Wales.”
Miles John may make his Aberystwyth Town debut when they host Barry Town on Saturday.
