Welsh goalkeeper Kyle Letheren has joined Morecambe.
The 33-year-old has joined the League Two outfit for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.
He links up with manager Derek Adams for the second time of his career after working with him at Plymouth Argyle between 2017 and 2019.
The Llanelli-born shot stopper had his contract at Chesterfield brought to an end by mutual consent, after making nine appearances for the Vanarama National League outfit this season.

“As soon as I knew there was interest, I wanted to get myself here so it’s great to get it over the line.
“I worked with the Gaffer for two years at Plymouth, he gave me the call and we managed to get it done.
“I can’t wait to get going now and hopefully we can go and get promoted.”
Before joining Morecambe, Letheren played for clubs such as Blackpool, Newport County, Salford City and York City. He also played for Dundee and Kilmarnock in Scotland.
Letheren has one solitary Wales U21 cap to his name after representing them at schoolboy level.
He was called up to the Wales squad to face Andorra in September 2014 but failed to make an appearance.
