The Cymru Premier ‘Team of the Season’ has been announced by the Cymru Leagues this afternoon.
The team was decided on by the 12 managers of the league, who all had an equal say on the team lineups, with more awards expected to be announced soon.
Sameron Singh-Dool won the Goal of the Season after his long-distance strike against Bala on the opening day.
The team includes six Connah’s Quay Nomads players, who all played a key role in securing a second consecutive title.
Callum Morris, Danny Davies, George Horan, John Disney, Michael Wilde, and Oliver Byrne all make up the Nomads’ representation.
Runners-up The New Saints have three players, including summer recruit Ryan Astles. Ryan Brobbel, who was sidelined for six months, makes his way into the side after a strong end to the season.
Adrian Cieślewicz, who had the most assists in the division this season, is also in the team.
Both Bala Town and Penybont have one player represented. Chris Venables, who netted 24 goals for the Lakesiders, winning his fifth Golden Boot, leads the line with Wilde.
Penybont skipper Kane Owen is included in the defence in a season where he has contributed five goals in 30 appearances.
Morris, Brobbel and Venables were all included in last seasons Team of the Season.
