Barry Town United have started their summer transfer business by signing former Fulham and Wales youth player Aron Davies.
The 23-year-old joins having spent time in the non-league scene with Merthyr Town and Redditch. He also played for National League outfit Maidenhead in the 2019/20 campaign.
An academy product of the Cottagers, Davies spent three years at Craven Cottage after originally beginning his career at Bristol City.
A centre-back by trade, Davies made more than 60 appearances for Fulham’s Under-23s side.
He has turned out for Wales at U16, U17 and Under-19 level.
“I’m delighted to welcome Aron to the club,” said manager Gavin Chesterfield to the club’s official website.
“Aron joins us with an excellent pedigree and coaching background and I’m looking forward to integrating him into the squad at training next week.”
In addition to Davies’ arrival, Barry have also secured the services of midfielder Clayton Green for a further season.
