Holders Swansea Uni ended this seasons campaign in third place with a win over USW Futsal. Swansea finish off the win a win after two defeats.
A first minute strike from Nathan Townsend gave Swansea the lead. Cameron Langan made it two for Swansea before and own goal from Warren Hudson put USW back in the game. Langan and Townsend both struck again before half time with Warren Hudson scored. Luke Wallace then scored just before the break making it 6-1 to Swansea Uni.
With both sides unable to make the final having both lost their opening two games this game was lively but friendly affair. Chances in the game were fairly even but Swansea better finishing in the first half gave them a strong lead. USW tested Swansea in the second half but Swansea were deserved winners.
Swansea Uni will finish third in the south group with three points from three games. USW end in fourth having lost all three of their matches.
Nathan Townsend got into the USW area early and his went in to give Swansea the lead after one minute.
Warren Hudson put his low shot into the side netting. Soon after Tom Johnston saw his shot well saved by USW keeper Lewis John.
Swansea kept up the early pressure and with a nice ball into the USW area Cameron Laugan fired home to make it two nil.
USW settled and with some good play from USW found Tobais Pretty-John, who’s back heel came off Warren Hudson to go in.
Pretty-John played in Billy Wheeler who played the ball across goal but Swansea keeper Luke Bowen was able to collect it.
Pretty-John was looking like the most danger for Swansea. He went past two and got into space but shot wide.
Nathan Townsend got his second goal after ten minutes putting a powerful low drive into the corner of the goal.
Soon after Cameron Laugan saw his shot hit the post.
On 15 minutes the post help Laugan this time as his powerful shot went in off the post.
Warren Hudson added a fifth after 16 minutes. From just outside the area he sent the ball in to the top corner with a stunning strike.
In the last minute of the first half Swansea made it six when Hudson went round Lewis John and set up Luke Wallace to tap home.

The second half started with a chance for Swansea as Townsend forced a fine save from Richard Jones, who came on in goals at the break.
In the 22 minute Pretty-John was able to get in behind the Swansea defence and fired a shot into the goal.
USW enjoyed a spell on top as Pritchard fired a shot wide on a quick break and soon after he forced Bowen out quick to save.
Leigh Watkins tried a long range shot but put it wide before Wheeler shot across goal.
Pretty-John went a great run passing three Swansea players before playing the ball to Wheeler. Wheeler struck his shot well but Bowen able to make a save.
Swansea came back and Johnston saw his rising shot saved by the finger tips of Jones.
Warren Hudson had a great chance to score after being put clean though one on one with Jones but he pulled his effort wide.
Luke Wallace tried with a late free kick as the seconds ticked down but he put it wide.
