Briton Ferry Llansawel: David and Sam Brown join with Dan Thomas
Briton Ferry Llansawel have announced the triple signing of David Brown, Sam Brown and Dan Thomas ahead of their new campaign in Welsh League Division Two.
Llansawel, who were relegated by the FAW to accommodate the relegation of Port Talbot, haven’t suffered in the transfer market as they have picked up another three new additions to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.
Ferry have secured the signing of Sam Brown from West End. Brown is a central midfielder and is sure to bolster the midfield ranks this season. David Brown is another central midfielder who arrives from Cwmamman United, who were a strong outfit in Division 2 last year.
Dan Thomas is a player who can operate at both centre half and midfield and thus offers options for Carl Shaw’s side if they suffer injuries in midfield throughout the season.
The players offer them experience in the division, thus strengthening their chances of an immediate return to Division 1 this season, and after the signing of goalkeeper Steve Cann, it would seem that their relegation has had no bearing on any incoming transfers.
