Citizens capture experienced Football League defender
Bangor City have further boosted their squad ahead of the new season by signing experienced defender Laurence Wilson.
The Liverpool-born defender has a wealth of experience, and will no doubt add security to the Citizens’ backline. The 29-year-old was previously on the books with Everton, but never made an appearance for The Toffees.
Following his release from the Merseyside club, Wilson played for several Football League clubs including Morecambe, Accrington Stanley and Rotherham. He has nearly 300 appearances in the Football League, which will be vital in City’s quest for success this season.
Wilson has an England u18s and u19s cap under his belt, and will no doubt be a welcome addition to the club.
