Thomas named permanent Airbus manager

Andy Thomas has officially been announced as the Airbus manager, taking over from Andy Preece who left the club earlier this summer.

Thomas had been in temporary charge at the club following Preece’s departure, but has now been given the reigns permanently.

Airbus, however, have found their start to the new season to be a difficult one, winning just once, a 2-1 win over Cardiff Met on the opening day of the season.

The club have experienced five straight losses in the league, leaving them languishing in 11th place above Cardiff Met, with just three points.

The club will be hoping Thomas’ appointment may stabilise things on the field, as the club look to climb the table.
