MATCH PREVIEW: Llandudno v Cardiff Metropolitan University

Cardiff Met make the long journey North on Sunday afternoon to face an improving Llandudno side currently sitting 7th in the table on 8 points.

Met will be buoyed by their second half display against GAP Connah’s Quay but will need to break down a stubborn Llandudno defence which hasn’t conceded a league goal since Jonathan Evans’ last gasp winner for Aberystwyth on Matchday 3.

With three games in seven days Met will be looking to kick-start their season with at least a point on Sunday and will hope that midfielder Chris Baker returns from injury to provide added steel in the heart of the midfield. It is maybe too early in the season to talk about must-win games but with over a quarter of the season gone, Met need points on the board or risk being cast adrift at the foot of the table.

Confidence is still high in the Met camp despite the disappointing start to the season and if they are able to recreate the form they have shown in patches this season for a full ninety minutes there is every chance they can retain their Welsh Premier League status.

I would anticipate a cagey affair with the odd goal proving decisive. Can Met get their first win or will it be Llandudno who extend their unbeaten run to 5 games in all competitions?
