Y Clwb Pêl-droed

Your home for Welsh domestic football!

ONE2ONE: Christian Langos

What have you made of your season so far with Bangor?

It’s been a positive start to the season for the squad but a slow start from me as I’ve been in and out of the squad through injuries.

What’s it like to play under Andy Legg?

Amazing, just amazing as he gives me the confidence to trust myself and enjoy it whether when I start or coming on from the bench.

Has he improved you as a player, if so what have you changed to your game?

I am not at the level I could be but in short term we’ve worked together I think help me to develop my awareness and my position defensively while keeping my consistency going forward.

Is their any difference in playing in the Welsh Premier League to the Northern Premier Division?

Yes there’s a difference in terms of playing style as there teams in Wales play fantastic football compare to the Northern premier Division they are more physical.

In your first season at Bangor, what was your first reaction to the standard in the Welsh Premier League?

To be honest I didn’t know how good the league is until I got myself playing in it. The Welsh league is so underrated but people forget that there are so many talented players playing in it, As for example if you look at our squad and so many other to name just few like James Murphy at Airbus and the Cardiff Met students.

Which game do you look forward to playing in?

I can’t really pick a game to play but I am am looking forward to get back playing as soon as I can. The league is that exciting bar The New Saints who sit top of the table again this season but anyone can beat anyone on their day.

Which ground do you look forward to playing at?

I got told that I am brilliant on the grass but unplayable on 3G surface so with their new 3G pitch I am looking forward to the Aberystwyth game.

What are your thoughts on the Bangor fans?

From day one they always been good not only towards me but to the other players as well. They follow us wherever we play and you can tell either away from home or in front of the Nantporth crowd they make a loud noise. They’re the second to none in the league.
