Glenn Rule re-signs for Airbus UK
Troubled Dafabet Welsh Premier League outfit Airbus UK Broughton FC have been given a boost by the signing of midfielder Glenn Rule.
Rule has returned for his second spell at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium, after signing for Evostik Premier League club Stockport County at the start of the 2015/16 season, making 21 appearances for the Hatters.
Previously at Airbus for four years, he represented the Wingmakers in Europe, becoming well known for his strength and composure in midfield.
His signature will come as welcome news to Andrew Thomas, who finds his side in a rut, rooted to the bottom of the league with just three wins from 20.
It is unconfirmed whether Rule will be available for Airbus’ next game, a derby at gap Connah’s Quay Nomads this Friday 30 December.
