Caernarfon Town youngster Alex Ramsay has extended his contract with the club yesterday.

The Caernarfon Town goalkeeper made his debut with the club last month after spending time with The New Saints and being a part of Rhyl’s Huws Gray Alliance winning side.

Since making his debut in November, he has kept one clean sheet during his five appearances.

Speaking to the Caernarfon Town website, manager Iwan Williams spoke of his delight that Ramsay will be staying with the club.

“It’s fantastic news for me on a personal level and for Caernarfon Town Football Club that Alex Ramsey has this week signed a contract to remain with the club. If Alex stays at Caernarfon, I have no doubt he will surpass Paul Pritchard’s success and become one of the best goalkeepers the club has seen, if not the best.”
