Lakesiders sign former Fulham and Wrexham defender Evans

Bala Town have swooped quickly to sign recently released Wrexham defender Jordan Evans.

Evans was rumoured to be in the demand of a few Welsh Premier Clubs but it is Bala who have secured his signature.

The Lakesiders announced the transfer this afternoon on their official club website.

The Wrexham born left-back signed a short term deal with the Dragons up until January but his stay at his hometown side where he was brought through their academy was not extended, allowing him to join any club following his release.

The 21 year-old has played for the Wales U19 squad as well as picking up 6 caps for the Wales U21 squad from 2014-2016, as well as time with the Wales U21 setup, he also played a part in Fulham’s U21 games in the English Premier League U21 leagues, before going out on loan to then at the time League Two side Oxford United
