Promotion winning Cadette stands down as STM boss

STM Sports manager Nathan Cadette has announced that he is to stand down as manager due to work commitments.

He oversaw STM’s promotion to Division Two this season, finishing 2nd behind Llantwit Major in a closely fought title battle.

The 37 year-old who has previously played for Merthyr, Telford, Aberystwyth and Inter Cardiff has overseen a massive rise through the leagues in his time at the club.

The STM board gave a statement on the departure of Cadette.

“Club Chairman, Geza Hajgato and Vice Chairman, Nigel Bircham along with the entire playing staff want to express their appreciation for all of the effort that Nathan has put in over the last couple of years that culminated in achieving promotion to Division 2 of the Welsh Football League.

We all wish Nathan well for the future.

An announcement regarding the new management at STM for the coming season will take place in the next few days.”
