Bangor sign Accrington Stanley midfielder
Bangor City have today confirmed the signing of 23 year old midfielder Steven Hewitt.
The signing comes just five days after the club reached the Europa League first qualifying round, beating Cardiff Met 1-0 in the play-off final.
Hewitt joins from League Two’s Accrington Stanley, having started out in Blackburn and Stockport’s youth systems before signing for a scholarship at Burnley in 2010, making his debut in 2012.
He signed for National League side Chester in 2015, moving to Southport before signing for Accrington Stanley last summer.
Player-manager Gary Taylor Fletcher took to Twitter to confirm the signing and tell fans to expect great things.
Going to be a great player for us this season. 👍🏼⚽️ https://t.co/ROsn04Lo4E

Hewitt is the latest ex-Football League player to join the Citizens, as the club continues to use its links with the English professional system.
