Trethomas part company with manager Kedward

Welsh League Division three side Gareth Kedward has been relieved of his duties as manager of Welsh League Division Three side Trethomas Bluebirds.

Kedward who was appointed as manager back in 2014, guided the club to an 11th placed finish after promotion to Division Three last season.

The club completed the season comfortably above the relegation zone, with 11 wins in 30 matches. With 38 points on the board, the side trailed third place Caerau by just 13 points come the conclusion of the season.

The club’s official Facebook page released a statement, hoping that Kedward would consider his involvement with the clubs younger players, despite not being the first team manager anymore.

It is with regret that TrethomasBluebirds AFC announce that Gareth Kedward will not be 1st team manager for the forthcoming season.

The committee would like to take this opportunity to thank Gareth for all his hard work during this period of growth and success.

It is hoped that Gareth will remain with the club to groom the young stars of the future.”
