RECAP: Panteg v Trefelin Boys & Girls Club

Trefelin Boys & Girls Club travel to Pontypool to face Panteg this evening in the Welsh Football League Division Three, in what is their final league fixture of the season. They currently sit second, joined in the promotion race by Cardiff-based Bridgend Street.

Tonight’s game is Richie Ryan’s side’s final opportunity to give them an advantage over promotion rivals Bridgend Street. The Port Talbot based side have a three point gap over Craig Dale’s men but can extend that to six with victory this evening.

As well as this evening’s fixture, Trefelin play Llanelli Town in the Welsh Football League Cup Final at Garden Village’s Stafford Common on Friday.

The home side currently sit tenth in Division Two, and still have three games left to play in the league. They play Tredegar Town and Treharris Athletic Western later this week.
