RECAP: South Wales FA host Amateurs FYR Macedonia in UEFA Regions Cup

Stephen Green’s South Wales FA side will be looking to back-up their scintillating display against Region of Gothenburg when hosting Amateurs FYR Macedonia at Jenner Park this evening. 

It was the perfect start for Wales, who top the group heading into matchday two of the UEFA Regions Cup.

Goals from Christopher Quick, Adam Jenkins, Jordan Evans and a double from Christopher Colvin-Owens helped Wales off to a flyer in the Vale of Glamorgan.

They will now be looking to back that up against a Macedonian side, who in large parts looked the better team against Evia at Cyncoed Campus, but in-spite of this, were defeated 1-0 as Panagiotis Karantakis scored the Greeks only goal to give them a narrow victory in the Welsh Capital.
