Cardiff Metropolitan host Carmarthen Town at Cyncoed Campus in Round Two of the Nathaniel MG Cup this evening. We’ll be providing live updates.
The Archers will be aiming to go one step further after narrowly losing to The New Saints at Park Hall last season. It was their first appearance in the League Cup final.
Reaching the final meant that Met had a bye in the previous round, whilst their opponents Carmarthen were in action, as they hammered Welsh League side Goytre 5-0 at Richmond Park.
The Old Gold have won the competition three times, with their last success in the competition coming four years ago, when they beat Bala Town on penalties.
