RECAP: Barry Town United move into second with win over Llandudno in JD Welsh Premier League

Barry Town United moved to within a point of The New Saints last weekend and will be looking to continue their excellent form when they host Llandudno at Jenner Park, and we will bring you live text commentary throughout.

The Linnets recorded a 1-0 victory last weekend over Bala Town in Maes Tegid, giving them their sixth win from seven games as Gavin Chesterfield’s side continued their sensational start to the campaign.

The win at Bala was Chesterfield’s side third win on the spin as they look to maintain their faultless start at home against the North Wales outfit today.

Llandudno, on the other hand, have struggled so far this season and are just two points above bottom-placed, Llanelli Town heading into today’s game in the Vale of Glamorgan – The Seasiders come into this one out of sorts, having failed to win any of their previous six games in the league – however, they did beat Barry earlier on in the season when the two sides met at the Giant Hospitality Stadium, winning 2-0.
