The Division One club confirmed on social media that Jones would be returning to the Port Talbot club.
“Afan Lido are delighted to announce the return of Mark Jones.”
Having played for clubs like Aberystwyth Town, Afan Lido, Carmarthen Town and Llanelli in the Premier League. Jones has scored 69 goals in 199 appearances in the top flight of Welsh football.
Jones made an appearance off the bench in Wales’ 3-2 defeat to England in March, scoring Wales C’s first ever goal.
The front-man could make his home return tomorrow evening when Afan Lido host managerless Taffs Well at the Marston Stadium in the Welsh Football League Division One. Both sides were knocked out of the JD Welsh Cup by lower league opposition.
