Newtown host Aberystwyth Town at Latham Park in the Robins final game of the year as part of the second part of the festive doubleheader.
The Robins can secure a top-six spot for themselves and Bala Town with a victory today. A point for Aberystwyth Town would send them back into the top six, following Caernarfon Town’s point against Llandudno.
Newtown recorded a narrow victory at Park Avenue on Boxing Day, with Steven Leslie scoring a first-half penalty before Neil Mitchell put the result beyond doubt.
Chris Hughes’ side have yet to lose in the Welsh Premier League this season at Latham Park, whilst Aberystwyth Town are on a three-game winless run.
