Former Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton could be about to Welsh join Premier League side Llanelli Town.
The 36-year-old had only just finished playing with the Swans this summer but could be tempted back to play for the Reds, who are 11th in the Welsh Premier League.
WalesOnline has linked Britton with a possible move to Steboneath Park, however, a move seems unlikely.
Last year, Britton took charge of Swansea City for their games against Crystal Palace and against Liverpool at Anfield.
The London born midfielder had a 19-year playing career, with most of his time being spent in South Wales.
Britton was a youth academy product of West Ham United, before moving to Swansea on loan where he was part of the Swans side which retained their Football League status on the final day of the season.
The central midfielder had a brief spell with Sheffield United but returned to Swansea to earn promotion in 2011.
Altogether Britton has over 546 appearances in professional football, with 520 of those coming for the Swans.
The club have already confirmed the additions of the returning Division One winning captain Lee Bevan, alongside former Neath midfielder Luke Morgan.
The Reds play Carmarthen Town at Richmond Park tomorrow before hosting Llandudno this Saturday.
Their final game of Phase One comes against reigning Welsh Premier League champions The New Saints.
