Cefn Druids have conducted their first piece of business in the January transfer window signing by adding Llandudno forward John Owen to their squad.
The 26-year-old rejoined Llandudno in the summer having joined from Aberystwyth Town but has left Llandudno once more to join The Ancients.
The Wales C international has scored four goals in all competitions for the Seasiders this season, with two coming in one game in the Nathaniel MG Cup.
Speaking to LeaderLive, Griffiths said: “I’m chuffed to sign John. He’s someone I’ve been after for a while and it’s great to get the deal done so early in the window.
“I want to help John fall back in love with football and hopefully get the very best out of him because he will certainly bring a little more quality to the squad.
“It’s a huge statement for Cefn Druids to sign John Owen. As much as we aren’t doing as well in the league last year, it shows how well we are progressing that we’ve been able to get him in.”
Owen has made 127 appearances in the Welsh Premier League, scoring a total of 22 times.
The centre-forward has won the Welsh Premier League with Bangor City and the Welsh Cup.
Owen could make his debut this Saturday when the Druids host second-placed Barry Town United at The Rock.
