Relegation-threatened Goytre sign duo Macdonald and Mohamed
Goytre have signed forward Kaid Mohamed from Haverfordwest County, whilst Dan Macdonald has returned to the club.
Mohamed joins the Gwent outfit, having only signed for the Bluebirds in December, whilst Dan MacDonald has rejoined from the club from Cinderford Town.
Former Panteg goalkeeper Ben Fletcher has also joined the club.
34-year-old Mohamed last season was playing in the English non-league with Chippenham Town but was released. His last Football League move was in 2015/2016 when he played three times in total for Accrington Stanley.
Overall in his career, Mohamed has scored 109 goals in 473 appearances.
His achievements include a Welsh Cup win in 2006/2007, as well as winning the playoffs with AFC Wimbledon and Bath City.
Second signing MacDonald began his career with Aston Villa, before moving to Wales to sign for Rockfield Rovers. The 30-year-old played for Carmarthen Town and Monmouth Town before a brief spell with Merthyr Town.
All three were present in Goytre’s draw with Lido on Saturday, having previously played in the 4-1 defeat to Llantwit Major last week.
Goytre’s next scheduled fixture is on the 6th April when they welcome Mohamed’s former side Haverfordwest County to Plough Road.
Welsh League clubs have until Thursday to sign any new players to their side.
