The Rock to host JD Welsh Cup Final
Cefn Druids’ The Rock is to host the JD Welsh Cup Final between the Connah’s Quay Nomads and The New Saints in May.
The final will take place on Sunday 5th May with a scheduled 14:45 kick off. It will be broadcast live on S4C and streamed online on the S4C website and Facebook page.
This is the first time that the Druids have hosted the Welsh Cup final. In their former guise, Ruabon Druids hosted 1894 final.

The last meeting in the competition being a 2-1 victory for the Nomads as they went on to win the competition for the first time in their history.
Neither side had a home game in their run to the final.
Speaking to FAW. Cymru, Head of Competitions Andrew Howard said: “We’re very pleased to be bringing the JD Welsh Cup Final to the Rock for the first time. The Druids have a rich history in the JD Welsh Cup, having played in the first ever Final and winning the competition eight times in total.
“The club have fantastic facilities and we are delighted that they will be hosting the showpiece event in the domestic calendar.”
