They beat local rivals Cornelly United 2-0 thanks to goals from Jorge Crofts and Sam Comley as they confirmed their place in the next level of Welsh football.

Jones’ side already hold a 14-point gap over second-placed FC Cwmaman and are closing in on the Division One title.

Manager Barrie Jones said: “A lot of hard work has gone into this promotion more so behind the scenes and its lovely to see the club moving forward again. The boys have worked hard to get in this position we need to complete the job next week and go up as champions.

“Fair play to Cornelly great battle fully committed in a derby game, our experience, and hard work on a very tight game today players won’t rest on their laurels and we hope to continue the progress next season.”
