Both sides successfully obtained the Tier One Licence last week which would allow them to play in the top tier of Welsh football.
Penybont holds a 16 point gap over the Bluebirds and a win tonight would mean Haverfordwest could not catch Rhys Griffiths side.
The Bridgend side have yet to lose this season and previously secured a 3-0 victory over their promotion rivals in February.
This is the last home game of the season for Rhys Griffiths men. A win would put them to within touching distance of the Welsh Premier League.
