Live updates from The Causeway as Penybont close in on the Division One title with just Undy Athletic standing in their way.

After Cambrian and Cwmamman United’s defeats last week, Penybont were promoted to the Welsh Premier League without playing a fixture.

A victory for Penybont would secure the title this afternoon. A draw could be enough if Cambrian and Cwmamman who play each other today, draw.

Undy themselves still have something to play for as they like Penybont clear out a backlog of fixtures. Jason Pritchard’s side need a few victories to secure their Division One status.

Rhys Griffiths’ side could follow in the footsteps of their former guise Bryntirion Athletic. They won the title in 2011, before merging with rivals Bridgend Town two years later.
