Llandudno set to appoint Gary Taylor-Fletcher as new manager – reports

Llandudno are set to announce Gary Taylor-Fletcher as their new manager.

The Seasiders are on the lookout for a new manager following Iwan William’s decision to leave the club.

A decision looks to have been made with the return of Taylor-Fletcher set to be announced tomorrow morning.

A report from the North Wales Chronicle says the Citizens boss will return to Maesdu Park for a second spell. He had a brief playing spell with Llandudno, scoring three goals in two games before returning to Bangor City.

The report says that the current squad have been told of the developments and after meeting with the Llandudno board, they have decided to offer Taylor-Fletcher the job of guiding the club back into the Welsh Premier League after relegation last season.

Taylor-Fletcher had been in charge of Bangor City since November after taking over from Craig Harrison.

The Citizens finished in the fourth spot under Taylor-Fletcher’s guidance this season.

He had worked as their manager when qualifying for the Europa League via the playoffs in 2017. He then worked as an assistant manager to Kevin Nicholson as the pair guided the Citizens to a second-place finish, before being relegated to the second tier after failing to obtain the Tier One license.
