Penybont go whole Welsh League season unbeaten
Division One champions Penybont have gone the whole league campaign without tasting defeat.
Rhys Griffiths side said goodbye to the Welsh League, which will cease to exist in its current format next season, with a 9-0 romp away at Cwmamman United.
The victory meant they went the whole league season unbeaten.
Their only defeats this season have been to Barry Town United, Newtown and Ynysygerwn.
Their points tally of 80 is a record for a 16 team division.

In total out of the 30 games played, they won 25 and drew just five times, scoring 81 goals and conceding just 22.
They also match Ton Pentre’s tally set in 1998/1999 and 1999/2000.
The club will now prepare for life in the Welsh Premier League for the first time in their history. They will be joined by North Wales sides Airbus UK Broughton who won the Cymru Alliance title.
