Bridgend Street appoint STM Sports coach Nathan Cadette

Nathan Cadette has been named as the new manager of Bridgend Street.

The STM Sports assistant-manager has taken the reigns of the Division Two club after John Jones departure this week.

Cadette leaves STM Sports after coaching them to promotion alongside manager Dale Gardiner. 

A club statement from official Kingsley Lloyd said: “Nathan is knowledgable, ambitious and has a record that speaks for itself. 

“We’re delighted to welcome him to the club. We’ve taken our time in making an appointment and spoken to some outstanding candidates in the past few weeks. 

“We firmly believe that the energy, experience and passion that Nathan brings to the club will make a positive impact as we move forward.”

Cadette was formerly on the books of Cardiff City, where he made four appearances.His playing career also saw him feature for Aberaman Athletic, Aberystwyth Town, Barry Town, Llanelli and Telford United.

His previous managerial experience was with Caldicot Town after moving from assistant to manager. He then moved to STM Sports in 2015, before stepping down as manager due to work commitments.
