Vale unveil Blanche as new First Team Manager

Vale United have announced the appointment of Ryan Blanche as the club’s new First Team Manager, replacing

Blanche was previously at the helm of Cornelly United, who play in Division One of the South Wales Alliance League – a tier higher than Vale.

A statement, posted on the club’s Twitter account, read: “We’re delighted to announce that Ryan Blanche has joined the club as first team manager.

As a club we want to keep progressing, Ryan is the right man to help us achieve this on and off the field. Welcome to the Vale.”

Blanche arrives in Corntown on the back of a positive season in charge of Cornelly, with the Meadow Street outfit securing a fourth-placed finish in the second tier of the South Wales Alliance League.

A further statement was posted by the club, confirming an addition to the coaching staff.

We would also like to welcome Sam Jackson, he will be supporting Ryan Blanche as first team coach.

Sam is a B Licence holder and currently helps with the Swansea academy.”

The Corntown Pavilion side recorded a fourth-placed finish in Division Two last season, 15 points adrift of Cogan Coronation in third.

After forming in 2014, Vale will compete in the seventh tier of Welsh football for the third consecutive season in 2019/20.
