Wales boss Ryan Giggs revealed that he spoke with the squad about players’ futures with their club, stressing the importance of international duty.

“I had a chat with the players last week about how important these two games are.

“We need 100 per cent focus on these games and there is a good period after the matches to sort things out.

“Sometimes you can’t stop it, but all I can do is put in the players’ minds how important these games are. They all know that.

“They’re professional lads, are focused on these games, and that’s what I need them to be. Hopefully that’s the case.”
