Former Bangor City forward Alex Darlington and youngster Jake Phillips have signed up with newly-promoted Welsh Premier League outfit Airbus UK Broughton.
Darlington, 30, joins the Wingmakers from Maltese side Mosta, who he joined in January of this year.
An experienced player in the Welsh system, he began his career with Wrexham, however a couple of serious injuries lead to him being released by the Dragons in 2008.
From there he joined The New Saints, where he would spend nearly a decade of his career, winning a host of different trophies in his time at Park Hall.
Wrexham-born Darlington netted 96 league goals during his spell with the Oswestry outfit.
His association with the Oswestry side ended in January 2018, when it was announced that he was to link up with Bangor City.
After a year with the Nantporth side, he departed to ply his trade abroad with the side nicknamed Tar-Rotunda.
His team finished ninth in the 14-team Maltese Premier League, five points above the relegation zone.
The forward has previously been capped by the Wales under-23 semi-professional side.
The Hollingsworth Group Stadium outfit secured their return to the top flight after two seasons in the Cymru Alliance, finishing 18 points clear at the summit.
Defender Phillips has also joined the club from fellow North Walians Connah’s Quay Nomads.
The 22-year-old was a member of the Wales C squad that travelled to face England C at Salford City’s Peninsula Stadium earlier this year, and is known for his dangerous long throws.
