RECAP: Ynys Môn strike gold as Melvin McGinness scores winner

LIVE updates from Holyhead Hotspur as Ynys Môn take on Guernsey in the final 

Ynys Môn are in the final for the first time since 2001. They haven’t won Gold for over 20 years. 

Guernsey have won the final three times and were bronze medalists two years ago in Gotland, they beat the Isle of Man, who won the last tournament in 2017, to reach the final.

The hosts’ top goalscorer is Sam Jones who is on three goals, having scored a brace in the semi-final on Thursday. 

Will Fazakerley is the one to watch out for Guernsey. He’s netted four times in three games, incluing a hat-trick against Saint Helena.
